Hockey Yukon is excited to announce the 2025 Yukon Summer Showcase – July 11–13!

Presented by Hockey Yukon, this high-performance 3-day event is open to:

  • U15 Male (2011–2012)

  • U18 Male (2007–2010)

  • U15/U18 Female (2007–2012)

Players will receive top-level instruction in a competitive, development-focused environment featuring:

  • 5 ice times for males (1 skills skate + 4 games)

  • 4 ice times for females (development skates + games)

  • Combine Testing with NSA

  • Registration: $200

Coaches and scouts attending from BCHL, AJHL, USPHL, VIJHL & more!

Making Ethical Decisions (MED) Coaching Course

Are you a coach, mentor, or someone working with youth in sport? Strengthen your leadership with the Making Ethical Decisions (MED) course, part of the NCCP (National Coaching Certification Program)!

What is MED? The Making Ethical Decisions course helps coaches develop the skills to make thoughtful, responsible choices when ethical situations arise in sport—whether it’s dealing with parents, athletes, or teammates. It’s a foundational course for all NCCP pathways and is required any coaching certification.

After registering, you’ll also receive a follow-up link to create a profile with the NCCP Locker, Canada’s official coaching platform where you can track your certification and access more training opportunities.

NCCP Sport Coach Course

he NCCP Sport Coach course is an introduction to Track & Field that teaches the basic skills of all events as well as how to plan a practice and a month of training. It is ideal for the generalist coach that may be coaching introductory-intermediate level athletes in a multiple event context; often in a school or club level.

This is a 1.5 day course; 9-5pm Saturday and 9- 1pm on Sunday.

Spring Ski Camp

10-14th March & 17-21st March

5-7 YEARS OLD

FOR WHOM?

  • Skiing experience required (can move forward, stand up, go up & downhill by themselves)

  • Can ski for more than an hour

8-12 YEARS OLD

FOR WHOM?

  • Need to have skiing experience from one of the xc skiing programs, at least one season (Whitehorse Nordic kids programs or Squad or Biathlon)

  • Skiing both techniques (skate & classic)

  • Excited by skiing to Harveys/ S.Steele

  • Skiing for more then 2,5 hours

  • Cross country skiing is their primary winter activity

Drinks and Snack provided. Kids need to bring lunch.
