Golden Grouse Disc Golf Tournament
Aug
21
to Aug 22

Golden Grouse Disc Golf Tournament

The Golden Grouse Disc Golf Tournament returns to Dawson City for another weekend of great disc golf, community, and northern vibes.

Now in its fourth year, the Golden Grouse has grown into one of the Yukon’s most unique events — combining competitive play with a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. Players will take on two distinctly different courses: the tight, technical lines of Crocus Bluff and the big, scenic shots of Moose Mountain.

The weekend kicks off on Friday, August 21 with the One-Disc Challenge at Crocus Bluff — a fun, social event with prizes on every hole and an ace bounty to get things going.

On Saturday, August 22, the main Golden Grouse Tournament takes place. Gameplay will include rounds at Crocus Bluff Disc Golf Course and Moose Mountain, with the number of holes and layout varying depending on the division you enter. Some divisions will play 9 holes, some 18, and some 36, making for a great full day of disc golf.

Players can expect:

A full weekend of disc golf across both courses
Multiple divisions for all skill levels
New MPO and FPO divisions in 2026
Youth and casual options to keep the event welcoming
UDisc scoring with simple, player-friendly formats
Great prizes, draws, and on-course contests

We’ve had incredible support from the community and expect to have amazing prizes once again.

The event wraps up at Moose Mountain with food, awards, and a social gathering that continues to grow each year.

We’re aiming to make 2026 our biggest and best event yet — growing the field, improving the overall experience, and continuing to build the Golden Grouse into the best disc golf event in the Yukon.

Registration will open shortly.
