Helping Kids Participate
The Kids Recreation Fund provdies many Yukon families with an opportunity for funding so their kids can participate in sport and recreational activities in the territory.

The 2024-25 Kids Recreation Fund is accepting applications for the 2024-25 fiscal year.
Who Can Apply?
All parents, guardians and children must be residents of the Yukon.
Parents and guardians can apply for their children (0 to 18 years of age) if
their combined net household income is under:
$46,818 with one child;
$54,100 with two children;
$60,343 with three children; and
$66,585 with four or more children.
What is Eligible?
The Kids Recreation Fund can be used toward registration fees and equipment purchases.
Proof of sport registration may be required with certain items. Clothing and running shoes are NOT funded.

When is the Deadline?
Applications are accepted anytime until 11:59 on March 30, 2025, or when funds are no longer available, whichever comes first.
What Local Suppliers Accept
Purchase Orders?
While the KRF is primarily a reimbursement program, there are some local suppliers from whom you can get and upload a quote in exchange for a purchase order.
