Whitehorse is joining the road to the FIFA World Cup 2026 this summer as the Canada Celebrates fan experience arrives at Shipyards Park on Friday, June 5 from 1:00pm-9:00pm.

This FREE, family-friendly event will bring the excitement of the World Cup to Yukon with live soccer viewing, interactive activities, music, games, and community celebration throughout the day.

Event Highlights:

• Live broadcast of Canada vs. Ireland on a giant outdoor screen starting at 4:30pm

• Interactive soccer skills stations including shooting, dribbling, passing, and power challenges

• Mini pitch soccer programming

• Other soccer-themed opportunities including a Home Deport Workship for kids, photo opportunities, and more

• Local food vendors, music & entertainment throughout the day

• Beer Garden open from 3:00pm-8:00pm (all proceeds from the Beer Garden will support Yukon Soccer Association)
