Run For Mom
The 26th Annual Run For Mom takes place on May 12, 2024 in Whitehorse!
Come down to the S.S. Klondike National Historic Site on Mothers Day to help raise money in support of breast health in the Yukon.
Registration starts at noon. Race starts at 1pm.
T-shirts are on sale for $25.

Whitehorse Sunshine Shuffle
This is the first backyard ultra in the Yukon and will be taking place on the trails at the scenic Gunnar Nilsson and Mickey Lammers Research Forest in Whitehorse on June 1, 2024.
With 19 hours of daylight, this will be the easiest backyard you have ever run.

YRF Summer Rugby Tournament
The YRF will be hosting 3 tournaments within Whitehorse this summer. Players of all experience are welcome to sign up to participate in these tournaments. There will be youth games, coed touch games, and senior full contact games.
The game dates are:
Tuesday May 7th from 3:30 - 5 at the FHC field
Saturday June 8th from 12 - 4 at the PCSS field
Saturday August 24th from 12 - 4 at the PCSS field.

Kluane-Chilkat International Bike Relay

Yukon River Quest
Participants paddle 715 km on the Yukon River around the clock from Whitehorse to Dawson City with 10 hours of requisite rest.
What began in 1997 as a fun, historical retracing of the Gold Rush, this race has morphed into one of the top ultramarathon paddling races in the world. It regularly attracts paddlers from around the globe as they come to test their mettle through the remote Yukon wilderness. Categories include tandem, solo and four-person canoe, tandem and solo kayak, Voyageur canoe and SUP.

2nd Annual BSC Golf Classic
You are invited to be part of a fantastic fundraiser planned for this summer - and we would love to have you there!
Building Systems Consulting (BSC) is holding its 2nd Annual Golf Classic Fundraiser event in the Yukon on July 5 and all proceeds will go towards Biathlon Yukon, which will help us continue to put on great programming for all ages. Raven 50 Mile Ultra & Youth 10km Relay

Northern Cup
Join Tennis Yukon for the Northern Cup - an annual tennis tournament welcoming players from across the North!
This year, participants from Juneau, Alaska and Yellowknife, NWT will be joining local Yukoners in Whitehorse for a weekend of friendly competition!

The 41st running of the Klondike Road Relay is coming! September 6-7, 2024.

Broadway Ever After
The Arctic Edge Skating Club is preparing for its 2024 Ice Show – “Broadway Ever After”
Skaters and coaches have been choreographing and practicing their routines since late March for this bi-annual event. The best time to come watch the skaters is either during the matinee show at 1:30pm or the evening show at 6:00pm at the CGC on April 27th. Around 60 skaters of all ages and stages will take part in the show, including those at the Special O, Rising Star, and StarSkate levels.
Admission is by donation of a non-perishable food item for the Whitehorse Food Bank.
AESC gratefully acknowledges the support of Lotteries Yukon in making this event possible.

The 2nd Annual Mt. Sima Aurora Cup is on - November 18-19 at Mt.Sima!
Alpine skiiers from across Canada compete in Slalom and Giant Slalom events over an amazing weekend of ski competition.
